“Why does the peace movement have to dress and act like an irritating children’s birthday party?” headlines this Salon.com article.
What else would this author expect? The so-called “peace movement” is populated with the remnants of the “Flower Children” of the 60’s and 70’s and the “Woodstock Generation” and their progeny and fellow travellers.
This is the same misguided group which senselessly prolonged the Vietnam War and caused untold losses of American troops in the process.
(Think that’s BS? Try Googling Vo Nguyen Giap, who led the NVA forces in that war and who conceded that the Viet Cong would have given up if not for American Peaceniks.)
Some people just never learn. Thing is, those people never pay the price of retreat and surrender. Our soldiers and our country pay that price.
