America’s guru, Queen Oprah, who gained fame and fabulous wealth thanks largely to gullible, weepy white women, has refused admission to her studio and her stage to white woman and Republican VP nominee, Governor Sarah Palin.   See http://www.tmz.com/2008/09/05/oprah-to-palin-i-can-pencil-you-in-later/ and http://drudgereport.com/flash3os.htm.

Why this is a surprise to anyone is the biggest surprise.  Winfrey endorsed Barack Hussein Obama long before he even won the Democratic nomination for president and has barred black, and conservative, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas from her royal presence.

In the TMZ article, she is quoted as saying, “At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”

Let me see if I have this straight.  Winfrey endorses Obama for the presidency, interviews him twice on her show, but refuses to use her show “as a platform for any of the candidates?”  I must be missing something here since that makes no sense to me or, we’re told, to half her staff.

She acknowledges that conservative Republican VP candidate Palin would make for a “fantastic interview” but will permit that fantastic interview only after the election?   Apparently all candidates are created equal but some, like Obama, are more equal than others.

Something is very rotten in the state of Oprahland but that won’t discourage gullible, weepy white women from continuing to watch her, buy her books, and fill her coffers while she laughs at them when the show is over.
